Why CONIFER Clinical Services?

We get asked that a lot. A conifer is a type of tree, usually a pine tree, that has cones that contain it's seeds. In order for a conifer to create new trees, the cones require very high temperatures to release their seeds. Most of the time it takes a devastating incident such as a forest fire to release the seeds and new trees to grow. When much of the surrounding forest may be destroyed, new seeds are released and there is hope that the forest will grow once again. As therapists, we often first encounter clients at their worst moments. Our purpose is to provide hope for clients that have experienced devastation. The Conifer represents hope for new life out of devastating circumstances.
